Sr. Work Experience : 2-4 years of actuarial / predictive modeling experience in property and casualty / general insurance domain preferred.

Grade 18 Location Bangalore Candidate Profile Candidates who have knowledge of actuarial processes with a strong background in data / databases.

As the analyst in this role you will have a proven track record of delivering accurate results to agreed deadlines and have had exposure of working with a variety of data sources.

You should have good communication skills and have the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will provide data support to pricing and related actuarial and analytical services for the Global Commercial businesses.

Job Requirements :

Key Responsibilities would include :

  • Analyze rate monitoring, retention, pricing, and reserving data
  • Accurately interpret and effectively communicate results to the pricing management
  • Support the development of actuarial reports to help the business effectively manage existing portfolios
  • Effectively interact and assist pricing actuaries around the globe
  • Communicate with underwriting to research and resolve issues quickly and escalate issues appropriately
  • Contribute to and support the team’s best-practices framework
  • Support other corporate requirements for Actuarial Pricing
  • Continue pursuit of actuarial designation
  • Be a strong team player Skills required would include :
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related area.
  • Candidates with good examination progress (Casualty Actuarial Society and Institute / Faculty of Actuaries UK and India) or advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics will be preferred.
  • 2-4 years of actuarial experience in property and casualty insurance necessary. Pricing experience and / or reserving experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with US and European markets will be beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Access, VBA, SAS, SQL or other programming languages with ability to query / model and / or automate tasks.
  • Effective time management skill. Good communication skills to liaise with business.
