The Engineer designs and implements technical solutions, and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems.
To meet the requirements of the business, the Engineer actively participates in the design and deployment of the application or its components and underlying plattforms, investigates and proposes appropriate technologies to be used, promotes re-
usability of existing components and contributes to the creation of frameworks. Take care of the DevOps continuous deployment / delivery process chain.
Solves problems in the existing toolchain and implement new / changed tools in order to be used by projects / vendors and other stakeholders.
Assists more junior members of the team and controls their work where applicable.
Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Oversees development and execution of objectives, plans and policies and is accountable for continuous efforts to improve Deutsche Bank's competitive Position and its performance
Ensures financial success by controlling budget planning and management as well as the P&L
Maintains internal and external key business relationships
Ensures the alignment to the DB risk management framework as well as to current regulatory and compliance requirements
Provides support for technical deployment components (i.e., databases, middleware and user interfaces).
Contributes to problem and root cause analysis.
For Midrange : Develops routine for Change Items (CIs).
Where applicable, develops routines to deploy CIs to the target environments.
Provides Release Deployments on non-Production Management controlled environments.
Supports creation of Software Product Training Materials, Software Product User Guides, and Software Product
Create Deployment Instructions.
Checks consistency of documents with the respective Software Product Release.
Where applicable, manages maintenance of applications and performs technical change requests scheduled according to Release Management processes and coordinate the actions accordingly with involved parties.
Collaborates with colleagues participating in other stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Checks if identifies dependencies between software product components, between technical components, and between applications and interfaces are properly covered.
Experience / Exposure

The deployment department receives software deliveries from projects / vendors, configures them for the target environment, creates the necessary changes for the deployments and takes part in the technical analysis of environment problems.

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) with profound knowledge in one of the named domain specific technologies with a minor in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering
