JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title : Oracle Developer (India) SCOPE The Oracle Developer will be accountable for development, maintenance and technical support of Mouser’s Oracle ERP System.

This individual serves as the in-house Oracle technical expert and works directly with Mouser Business Analysts on the implementation, maintenance and support of all Oracle products.

The Oracle Developer will be responsible for ensuring the proper governance of custom development and application integrations throughout the system development life cycle.

ACCOUNTABILITIES Analyze, design, develop, test and implementation required system customizations : reports, custom fields, fast formulas, workflows and integrations.

Develop documentation in support of life cycle processes including technical specifications, design documents, unit and integration test plans, test cases and test scripts ensure output is complete, accurate and in conformance with specifications.

Provide operational maintenance and support of the Oracle ERP and HCM modules including but not limited to system configuration, set-

up and user management; troubleshoot, identify and resolve issues; escalate problems to Business Analyst and business liaisons.

Implement changes using established change management procedures. Evaluate and communicate impact of new system features and other changes.

  • Notify Business Analyst and management of system downtime and outages. Manage multiple assignments with minimal guidance;
  • prioritize tasks and deliverables effectively to meet due dates. Foster a positive team environment. Remain professional at all times, manage up and take initiative where and when necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science Two to five years of experience in an Oracle EBS Developer or equivalent role Two to five years of experience developing applications using Java, XML, SQL and PL / SQL, HTML, and JavaScript Requires knowledge of Human Resource, Payroll, Benefits & Accounting business rules and procedures.

    Requires knowledge of Oracle database management systems and understand the data dependencies and relationships between Oracle EBS HCM and Financials systems Requires knowledge of coding best practices for client server and web development with the ability to write complex queries Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)

    SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, explain technical concepts using non-

    technical language and interact effectively with a diverse team. Solid analytical skills with the ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems and identify effective solutions.

    Ability to learn by reading various technical and non-technical documentation including Entity Relationship Diagrams, technical white papers and system guides.
