Job Purpose

  • Revenue generation through acquisition & deepening of high value liability relationships of IBG 4
  • To drive and deliver exceptional business performance to grow the liabilities portfolio (operating accounts, term deposits and structured cash management sales including electronic banking sales),
  • To identify & implement effective strategies for achieving the IBG4 budget
  • Key Accountabilities

    1.Accountable for achieving monthly & annual sales targets as agreed. Ensure proper implementation & execution of relationship management strategies.

    Ensure proper sales spread between products. Aim to balance NTB (New to Bank customers) with increased penetration of existing customers to deepen the wallet share.

    2.Monitoring of progress towards achieving targets is done on a weekly basis. Agree targets and take accountability for the overall achievement of Cash Management, Trade and Foreign Exchange services.

    3.Assist team lead in

    a.Customer Experience, Sales Growth & Income Contribution.

    b.Cross sell

    4.Provide clear direction on business objectives, translating and prioritizing into business performance measures. Ensure balance between NTB (New To Bank) customer acquisition & penetration of existing customers.

    Grow liabilities portfolio to deliver float balances, term deposit balances, income on trade and forex services. Focus on identifying cross-

    sell opportunities for other products from within the liabilities portfolio.

    5.Ensure compliance with all internal & external guideline

    Job Duties & responsibilities

    1.Develop the IBG 4 client base in, including target identification.

    2.Manage all Eco-system partner relationship and drive business through the same

    3.Prepare and track client plans for existing clients.

    4.Cross sale Loan / Trade / FX and Service the existing relationships and enhance revenue.

    5.Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for the portfolio

    6.Tap into large relationship of bank and use them as sourcing lead for large ticket relationship

    Experience

    At least six years of experience in Banking / Financial Services sector post qualification

    Education / Preferred Qualifications

    Basic minimum : Post Graduate Degree, preferably in business, economics, finance, etc, CA / MBA

    2.Interactive skills to manage customers, inter-departmental interactions

    3.Business sense sound judgement, creativity, analytical insight

    4.Communication skills oral writing and presentation skills.

    Technical Competencies

    Technical competence in financial knowledge, banking product knowledge, computer literacy / skills (basic word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software).

    Work Relationship Interaction with external Eco-system partners, Develop working relationship with internal team such as Cash Trade partners & CBG & OTHER Members of IBG 4

    Good network and market linkage with business groups, corporates, key business personalities, other active banking counterparties etc.
