A brief about the role :

  • A member of Noida Lending operations, reporting to the Operations Manager Monitoring and Control Team and responsible for supporting nominated RDs who are developing and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of Larger Business customers and connected Personal customers.
  • A credit process specialist dealing with a range of credit activities for a number of portfolios
  • Provide high-quality financial analysis support to RDs, acting as an interface with other areas of LB risk and undertaking the monitoring of financials.
  • Responsible for reviewing and agreeing the Monitoring and Control elements of complex Facility Letter documentation.
  • Will be responsible for managing drawdown of significant lending deals ensuring that Regulatory and Internal procedures are adhered to.
  • Working in partnership with the Credit Managers and Post Sanction Case Managers, Coverage Team, servicing team and other specialists to ensure that we provide a joined up service to our customers at all times.
  • Your Role

  • Own the day-to-day processing of financial information for a number of Larger Business Customers, act as liaison for risk management purposes with RD’s, RSM’s Credit and other relevant people
  • Use Zeus to analyze historic and projected financial information to identify key issues and monitor compliance with covenants and terms prior to discussing with Relationship Director
  • Responsible for ensuring Regulatory and Internal procedures followed for drawdown Monitoring and Control criteria met and for collating and managing customer produced financial information and input on Zeus.
  • Use knowledge of monitoring and control procedures to make recommendations to RD on protecting the Group from losses and managing high value facility risk and also taking ownership of urgent credit related matters such as reporting late management information and breaches
  • Provide technical input in connection with proposed monitoring and control to ensure it is correctly reflected in Zeus and the facility documentation and also ensure correctly complete covenant monitoring at all times.
  • Discuss customer breaches of covenants and terms with RD / Credit Manager and make recommendations / initiate remedial actions

  • Assist with the transfer of accounts to the Debt Recovery Unit (DRU) and assist the RD / Business Support team and others with the recovery procedures for non-DRU accounts;
  • Undertake and adhere to all compliance regulations applicable to your role and attend team meetings and contribute to environment of mutual support by sharing knowledge with other team members
  • Act as liaison for risk management purposes with RD’s, RSM’s Credit and other relevant people, Liaise with the Operations Manager and Head of Monitoring and Control team, providing feedback to aid performance development for other members of the Lending Operations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the Group, Use of conceptual knowledge for correct calculation of wide variety of complex covenant and triggers, Use of analytical knowledge for reviewing of customer financials and providing valuable input to coverage, credit managers and credit especially in case of breaches.
  • Contribute to environment of mutual support by sharing knowledge with other team members
  • Essential Skills

  • CA / CFA / FRM or Post-graduate or MBA
  • Strong financial statements analysis skills
  • Aptitude to work in a dynamic business environment, periodically requiring tight deadlines and aggressive turn-around time
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong business acumen to understand clients’ requirements
