Position Description :

Defines, designs and implements network communications and solutions using the Microsoft Unified Communication platforms.

Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Manages the load configuration of a central data communication processor and makes recommendations for purchase or upgrade of data networks.

Approves action requests and specifies purchase requirements. Negotiates and places orders with common carriers.

Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies and supports on premise application and SAS based tools. Develops and reviews operator and control instructions.

Prepares and conducts system tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software. As directed, prepares feasibility studies and designs tests to determine operating characteristics of software.

Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for software product release. Writes installation scripts and programs for installation of products.

Works with project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule and then initiates the build and packaging process. Works with others to complete analysis, evaluations and design alternatives and to implement process improvements.

Works with development engineers to correct build errors.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Administration of Skype for business including but not limited to External Federation, Trunk routing, Evaluation of CDR reports, CU patching and testing, migration of user account and DR failover.
  • Exchange administration, troubleshooting mail flow and delivery reports, DR failover, a 3rd tier escalation point for anything the services desk or client services need assistance with.
  • Expert skill in Active directory administration.
  • Familiarization with FSMO roles and their fail over process.
  • Ability to run network traces and Wireshark for troubleshooting authentication and connectivity issues. Familiar with PKI and LDAP / S.
  • Office 365 administration and reporting.
  • Rotational work shift & weekend on call working
  • Qualifications :

  • KNOWLEDGE : Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • JOB COMPLEXITY : Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has internal and some external contacts.

  • SUPERVISION : Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
  • EXPERIENCE : Typically requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years of related experience into Administration of Skype for business, Exchange administration & Service Desk support.
  • Person should be willing to working in Rotational shift and weekend hours. (6 : 30 AM, 12.30 PM, 3 : 30 PM & 8.30 PM)
