IDM team is a part for GTS end user services team, known as GTS / DWS / CPS / IDM team who operates a part of the infrastructure related to Identity and Data management (Active Directory, Strong authentication and Data management)
Role / Job Summary
The Scope of Mission is to Provide Data Management , Account Management , and Active directory Services for Several Internal Societe Generale entities, such as :
Total number of End Users covered is >
100 000, over AMER, ASIA, EUROPE and INDIA.Most of the Services are provided for French entities.
Years of Experience Minimum of 8 + years experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support on below main technologies and expertise on below :
Qualification / Certification
MCSE Certification will be appreciated

High Level Description of Services Delivered :
Active Directory Services
The Scope of the mission contain approximately 25 different Active directory Domains, including DEV, UAT, and PRODUCTION environments, spread across different locations.
Total number of End Users Account Managed is >
The Main tasks related to Active Directory are :
Create and update architecture documents
Apply domain expertise and innovative ideas to architect and design solutions; evaluate multiple options to meet client's business requirements.
Manage documentation for regular Active Directory migration process
Creating knowledge management documents for known issues with AD
Work on knowledge efficiency reports to reduce the troubleshooting time for AD issues
Conduct trainings on Windows, Exchange and Active Directory to up skill the team members
Provide L2, L 3 support Level for Incident Management
Use Monitoring (SCOM) and ticketing tools to Monitor SG Active Directories at highest Service Level.
Escalate Incidents at Rights level; to Control-Towers, and / or Management when appropriate
Review incidents on Weekly basis to improve Monitoring, and Reduce number of tickets
Pro-Actively, Administer SG Active Directory infrastructures; by supporting the following Services :
Specific Microsoft Network Service-Services DNS, WINS, Time Service
Logical Infrastructure of Active Directory Sites, Site Links, FSMO, Subnets, KCC, FRS
Provide Support for GPO Management for GTS Teams.
Provide Support for Public Key Infrastructures (PKI)
Review and Write Operational Procedure liaising with Paris Counter-Parts
In Addition to Standard Microsoft Active Directory Solutions / Tools, a set of additional Microsoft or Third Party Software are in Production.
The Candidate will also be involved in their Management. This consists of :
Active Directory Application Mode - ADAM
ILM, MIIS, IIFP
EVIDIAN Suite for SSO / WAM / Smart Card authentication
NetIQ Group Policy administration suite (GPA)
DELL / QUEST Change Auditor Solution
Administer / Support File Services, mainly provided through NetApp Appliance
Distributed File System - DFS
Manage SAN / NAS / CIFS Shares and Permissions, on multi-sites environment
Management of NetApp appliance / Operating System is out of scope of the mission.
Support Societe General Home Made tools such as OnDemand and GroupMembersHip
When SG ReOrganizes / Merges Teams, this leads to Merge / Reorganization of Folders / Shares in NAS, which are managed through Projects.
Support Any infrastructure that provide EndUsers all his Data in his / her workplace. (DFS, LoginScript, File Share Service, )
Provide Support to Application Teams for Management of their Accounts / Groups / Admin-Accounts in Active directory, using either Standard Microsoft Tools, Either Home Made Provisionning Tools (Virtual SA, POPS, SGD, ), either External Identity Management solution SG has implemented (EVIDIAN)

Password Reset for application Service Accounts
Create Groups in Active Directory to Support ITEC and GTS Projects / Needs
Control number of Groups of Accounts to ensure limits are not reached
Raised alerts at right Level
