Reinsurance Finance function in Indiaprimarily supports the quarterly closing and reporting process of ReinsuranceBusiness.
There are different sub-processes performed by Reinsurance FinancialReporting team in India which includes but is not limited to : Quarter end CloseProcess, Reporting Process, Reconciliation Process, Planning Process, BusinessAnalysis Process, etc.
This position will be supporting Bermuda region.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
Providing Support in preparing Legal Entity Financial Statements forReinsurance Financial Reporting team
Responsible for supporting Financial Close, Reporting and Analysisactivities, Preparation of Analytical Management Packs for Reinsurance FinancialReporting team.
Analysis of Income Statement, Balance Sheet line items along withcommentaries & presentations for Senior Management / Controllers.
Responsible for preparing quarterly reconciliations which include Bank Reconciliationsand post journal entries as needed.
Providing necessary support to Controllers for planning process andassist with direct and indirect expenses analysis.
Responsible for extracting queries from PeopleSoft and various othersystems and analyzing the same.
Maintain strong communication with onshore (both written and verbal) andmanage expectations
Keeping the flexibility in reports to incorporate any high leveladjustments or structural changes from onshore
Maintaining process documentation
Support Ad-hoc activities

SHARE your talent
Accounting and Analytical skills : CA with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience or MBA Finance with 6+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Financial Accounting & Reporting.
Equity share capital knowledge / Capital Markets
Legal entity reporting
Good analytical & reconciliation skills
Good exposure of working on Excel and Presentations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good team player and ability to work independently.
Strong customer-focus and results orientation.
Innovative and process improvement mindset.
Knowledge of Recent developments in Financial Markets
