Commercial Strategy & Pricing (CS&P) team is at the forefront of developing advanced commercial policies and pricing models that enable our sales team to serve our customers with high level of transparency and consistency.

It also plays an instrumental role in driving margins through price achievement and deal structuring by monitoring and benchmarking usage stats across products and customers.

The team has a reputation for excellence, and their skills are in high demand from senior leaders in the business and commercial organization.

Building on this success, CS&P are expanding their capabilities in the market intelligence domain to consolidate data from different business systems to create a single customer view.

This position is responsible for developing a single customer view which involves aggregation of the data held by an organization about its customers in one place to provide a consistent and holistic representation of data.

She / he will collaborate with business, sales, product technology and the wider commercial organization to identify and develop the total addressable market for different products.

This position reports to the Director, Strategic Pricing in Bangalore, India.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop a single customer view merging customers’ transactional data with usage, industry segment and other customer specific data points
  • Estimate the total addressable market for a product by extracting the list of existing and potential customers
  • Collaborate closely with business, sales, commercial, and management team to ensure alignment on the total addressable market
  • Create standard templates for cleaning raw data across multiple data sets
  • Establish standard operating rhythm for tagging customers across multiple data sets

    This role requires a business-credible individual who possesses a commercial mindset and a data-driven approach. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ coding experience in data management, or in data warehousing or at least have experience working in structured data environments.

    The successful candidate should also have 2+ years of people management experience. She / he should be able to work with multiple stakeholders across departments and drive projects to completion and shape outcomes directly, as well as possessing the intellect and appetite to engage on broad and complex data challenges.

  • 5+ years’ experience designing, developing, and implementing ETL
  • 5+ years’ experience with Relational Database Systems and SQL
  • Experience in Python or R is preferred
